Outside we were greeted with a wave of fresh night air and buzzing street lamps.
And under the silver spotlight of the moon, Lili turned around to me and said:
"Let's call it a night for now, I'm tired."
"It's only 10pm though." I said.
"I know. But I like my sleep tho, I get like 9 to 10 hours of sleep everyday."
"Fair enough." I nodded. "What about you Alicia where are you going to go now?"
"Someone is going to pick me up home." Alicia said casually.
"Who though?" I questioned further.
"Eeee..." Alicia stuttered for a moment. "My dad."
"I see." I looked back and forth between the two again. "Alright cya guys then."
"Wait." A new voice cut off both of them, and we all turned our attention to the owner of the voice.
She appeared to be her teens, slender built, glorious wavy red golden hair, eyes like living amber, high cheek bones, loose white dress, black stockings with silver armor playing covering on top of parts of it, and a western style sword sheath hanging at her side.
"I spectated your fight back there weeb girl." The girl said with a monotone voice along with a poker face. "A spectacular fight I must say."
"Uhhh...Thanks?" Lili raised a brow.
"Apologies for the improper introduction. I am Maria Springfield, first princess of Albion. And may I have the honour to formally request a duel with you?" Maria said confidently.
The three of us looked to one another wordlessly.
She's probably on drugs...
"Eee...Probably some other time. I am tired." Lili waved.
"Shall we arrange a time then?" Maria asked.
"Tomorrow night I guess. Same time as the custom fight started." Lili stifled a yawn.
"Very well I shall be waiting." Maria replied with a still expression.
"Alright good night yall! I am really getting tired now..." Lili turned and did a wave, and was on her way.
Once Lili's figure disappeared around the corner, we turned our attention back to Maria again.
